Female, empowerment and desert walking tour in #paris packed with tarts, macarons, chocolate, chouqettes, waffles and other yummy sugary snacks! 🍡🎂🍭🍧🍨🍬🍦🍰🍩🍪🍮🍴Way too much sugar, gluten and dairy? Umm yes (more than I eat in months). During the long days of summer, our skin can take a beating from generous sun exposure, humidity, chlorine, and salt water—not to mention all the chemicals and pollution lurking in the air around us. To remedy this abuse, I go to my kitchen. Salad packed with greens, kale avocado, berries, lime, lemon, olive oil, sweet potato chips, chia and flax to promote purification from within. It’s a bit sweet, a bit tart, and a whole lot refreshing. Goodbye, dehydration, breakouts, wrinkles and puffy skin. 🙏 #dinner #la #losangeles #healthyandhappy

Present moment happiness. 🙏Whether you are in spinning class or eating a salad, focusing on the present moment is critical for your overall well-being. When you live in the present, you begin to remove the “when I lose 10 pounds” or “if only I were a size 2” thoughts from your life. These thoughts create your reality because they are focusing on the idea that your 'better self' is in the future instead of here and now. Need a lesson in patience? Try Doga... yoga for you and your dog. For a full hour, @wellnessforroo ran in circles around us. Licked my feet and pounced on my back. Chewed my hair. Nipped by fingers. Barked. For Roo, yoga was a game.... For myself, there were moments throughout my practice that I felt this new yoga trend, doga, was a really stupid idea. There were certain moments during it, I felt like that parent on the plane that can't get their child to shut up. The bad parent that clearly hasn't taken her dog to obedience training. But DOGA, also has beautiful lessons just as everything does.. it forces you to detach from all outcomes of the practice. Detach from getting a great workout, from finding a meditative state, from getting somewhere. It is a lesson in accepting what is and being ok with whatever comes forth during the hour. You learn to let go when you tighten from the interruptions and breath through the barking. You learn to let go of perfection and everything being seamless. And true yoga shouldn't be perfect - every single breath, pose and chant shouldn't be perfect. It is not about ego or 'getting somewhere.' It is about being present and in the moment and holding space for whatever comes forward - like a dog running through your legs. Love practicing with @daniellecuccio
